Redundant system controller host task may become inaccessible

PAC firmware R9.0a to current, until fixed

Resolved In Version:

PAC firmware R10.0f

Symptoms:

Occasionally, when a redundant system switches controllers, one of the controllers may become inaccessible, leaving the system in an error state.

If this issue occurs, both controllers must be restarted:

Reset controller 1 by writing a "1" to arbiter MMP location 0xf8000200.
Reset controller 2 by writing a "2" in the same manner.

if that doesn't work, write the same values instead to 0xf8000204 to force a reset.

Resolution:

Opto 22 has resolved this issue.
