Possible -25 (Port not locked) errors in controller's message queue

Symptoms:

In a PAC Control strategy with the Autorun flag set, if one or more I/O units are not accessible when the controller powers up, you may see -25 (Port not locked) errors in the controller's message queue.

Workaround:

In PAC Control Config mode:

  1. Edit each I/O unit (right-click on the I/O unit, then select Modify) and uncheck "Enable communications from control engine".
  2. Modify the strategy and add the following instructions in the first block of the Powerup chart:
    • Delay (Sec) with a value of 1
    • Enable Communication to All I/O Units

Resolution:
