External monitor does not enter power saving mode when expected

Symptoms:

In groov Manage, you can enable a feature that sets the connected external monitor to a power saving mode after a selected number of minutes (from groov Manage Home page, select System > Display, then Enable Backlight Timeout). However, with this issue, groov Manage does not set the external monitor into power saving mode.

Note: If your external monitor supports its own timer and power saving mode, you can still use the monitor's feature.
