PID, Analog Ramping, Streaming or CODESYS I/O data stalls when system time is changed

Symptoms:

If you change the system time to an earlier time, certain features will stop functioning until the system time reaches the time before you changed system time. For example, if you set the clock back 1 hour, the affected functions will stop working for 1 hour and then resume. This affects the following features: PID, Analog Ramping, and Streaming. In addition, CODESYS Controller may fail to get updated I/O channel data.

Workaround:

Do both of the following:

Don't update the system time with any method. Some examples include:
- groov Manage
- PAC Control's Control Engine Inspect window
- PAC Terminal
- PAC Control strategy commands (for example, SetHours & SetMinutes)
Disable NTP service in groov Manage. (From the groov Manage Home page, click System > Time. Click on the Enable NTP slider to disable it. Click Set NTP.)

Resolution:
