Errors after Updating Library Package for CODESYS

Symptoms:

NOTE: This KB article is for informational purposes. This issue is not a defect in GRV-EPIC-PR1 or Opto 22 Library Package for CODESYS Development System.

After you install version 2.0.0.0 of the Opto 22 Library Package, if you do not update all your groov EPIC devices (both the PLC and the I/O modules) in existing projects to the 2.0.0.0 version, you may see errors like the following when you try to build your project:

[ERROR]         PR1 Project with 1.0.3: Application [Device: PLC Logic]: C0077:  Unknown type: 'OPTO.IoDrvOptoHdDigitalOut'
                Compile complete -- 1 errors, 0 warnings
                Build complete -- 1 errors, 0 warnings : No download possible

Workaround:

None.

Resolution:

To resolve this issue, update all your devices to version 2.0.0.0. For instructions, see the "Updating groov EPIC and groov I/O Module Information" in groov EPIC User's Guide (form 2267).
