Writing NaN (Not A Number float value) to analog output is not ignored

Symptoms:

Writing NaN (Not A Number float value) to an analog output should be ignored. However, this issue causes the following:

In PAC Control, when you read the analog output, you'll see 1.#QNAN.
In groov Manage, you'll see "Invalid Value."

However, the analog output value is not changed, which is the correct behavior.

Workaround:

Ensure that the floating-point value is valid before writing it to an analog output.

Resolution:

Opto 22 has resolved this issue.
