Default Scaling for Analog Channels Not Set Correctly

Applies To:

Firmware for:

  • GRV-EPIC-PR1
  • GRV-R7-MM1001-10

Versions Affected:

GRV-EPIC-PR1: All versions prior to 3.0.0
GRV-R7-MM1001-10: All versions prior to 3.0.0

Resolved In Version:

GRV-EPIC-PR1: 3.0.0
GRV-R7-MM1001-10: 3.0.0

Symptoms:

You may see that the values of an analog input channel are incorrect after you do the following in PAC Control:

  1. You change the scaling of an analog input channel to something other than the defaults and the new lower scale value is 0.
  2. You download and run the strategy.
  3. You change the scaling of the analog input channel back to defaults.
  4. You download and run the strategy.
This issue is limited to channel types that don't have a default lower scale of 0.

Workaround:

After you notice that the analog value is incorrect, correct the scaling values in groov Manage:

  1. Log into your GRV-EPIC-PR1 with an ID that has administrator privileges.
  2. From the groov Manage Home page, click I/O.
  3. In the Modules page, click the box that represents the module with the channel that has the issue.
  4. Click on the channel that has the issue.
  5. Click Configure.
  6. In the Scaling section, set the scaling values back to defaults.
    • Change the value in Upper Scaled to match Upper Full.
    • Change the value in Lower Scaled to match Lower Full.
  7. Click Save.
