Symptoms:

In PAC Control Debug mode, you may observe a controller timeout error message (indicating a possible PAC Control engine reset) when stepping through a subroutine in a strategy under the following two conditions:

The subroutine contains a local variable with the same name and type as a global variable in the calling strategy.
While stepping out of that subroutine, you are inspecting that local variable of the same name.

Workaround:

Do not inspect a subroutine local variable when stepping out of the subroutine if the variable has the same name and type as a global variable in the calling strategy.

Resolution:

Opto 22 has resolved this issue.
