At Symbol (@) in Video Gadget URL May Prevent Images From Loading

Symptoms:

If you have a video gadget with the 'Use groov as a proxy' option checked and the gadget's URL contains an at symbol (@), the video proxy module in the groov View server may fail to load images.

For example, this works:
https://username:password@server.example.com/path/to/resource
But this doesn’t:
http://server.example.com/path/to/camera?user=user&password=p@ssword

Workaround:

Do one of the following:

Don't use the proxy option: double-click on the video gadget and then uncheck 'Use groov as a proxy' from the Video Gadget Properties window.
Provide the URL without the at (@) symbol, such as encoding it as a percent-escape code. The percent-escape code for @ is %40.
