Serial Communication Handle Parameter String With Spaces Prevents Communication

Symptoms:

In your PAC Control strategy, if you write a serial communication handle with Format 2 (where you specify the parameter string as ser:<keyword>=<value>,<keyword>=<value>,...), the serial communication may not work if there are any spaces in the parameter string. For example:

If the communication handle is: baud=19200, data=8, stop = 1, the PAC Control strategy will download and run; however, there won't be any serial communication and you won't receive any indication that it is not working.
This communication handle value is correct: ser:baud=19200,data=8,stop=1

Workaround:

Remove all spaces from the serial communication handle parameter string.

Resolution:
