Symptoms:

If your PAC Control strategy uses a communication handle to open an FTP session to retrieve a file from a remote FTP server, after the file is saved to the computer, when the PAC Control strategy attempts to access the file (for example, with a file communication handle to write to the file), you may see error messages like "error during file access" (-408) or "cannot open file" (-417). This is because SoftPAC sets the hidden attribute when it saves the file on your local PC.

Workaround:

Manually remove the hidden file attribute from the retrieved files through Windows File Explorer.

Resolution:
