FTP "appe" command overwrites remote file

Symptoms:

In a PAC Control strategy, if you use the Send Communication Handle FTP appe command to append to a file on a remote FTP server, the command overwrites the file on the remote FTP server with the contents of the local file, instead of appending that content.

Workaround:

Modify your PAC Control strategy to replace the FTP appe command with the following steps:

With a communication handle open to the FTP server, use the FTP get command to retrieve the file from the FTP server.
With a file communication handle, append to the local copy of that file.
With the FTP communication handle, use the FTP send command to overwrite the file on the FTP server with the appended local file.

Resolution:
