Page access permissions reset to All Users

Versions Affected:

For groov EPIC processors: 3.1.0 to 3.4.1
For all other part numbers: 4.3a to 4.4a

Resolved In Version:

For groov EPIC processors: 3.4.2
For all other part numbers: 4.4b

Symptoms:

If your groov View project has any pages that limit permissions (for example, only for Kiosk users), after groov View is restarted, those pages should keep their permissions. However, with this issue, the permissions on those pages are changed to All Users.

Workaround:

Do not restart groov View (in groov EPIC, restarts are done in groov Manage; in groov Server for Windows, restarts are done by restarting groov Server).

Resolution:

Opto 22 has resolved this issue.
