SNAP-AITM-4i: Thermocouple shows +2 °C bow in readings at low ambient temperatures

Versions Affected:

All versions with date codes that do not have a suffix of "/90553". Date codes are printed on the back of the module.

Symptoms:

This issue affects all thermocouple types except type B.
As the ambient temperature reaches between +5 and -10 °C, you may observe an error of up to +2 °C in temperature measurement.

Workaround:

Do not let ambient temperature dip below 5 °C.

Resolution:

If you’re affected by this issue, contact support@opto22.com to request an RMA to re-calibrate the modules.
