Open connection is closed after Accept Incoming Communication command

Versions Affected:

For SNAP PACs: R9.4a to R10.4e
For SoftPAC: R9.4a to current

Symptoms:

If you pass a COM handle to the Accept Incoming Communication command and the COM handle already has an open connection, it should return a -47 (Already Open) error. However, with this issue, the COM handle is closed, and the command returns a -442 (Could not accept on socket.) error.

Workaround:

Verify that the COM handle is not open before calling the Accept Incoming Communication command.

Resolution:

Opto 22 has resolved this issue and will include the fix in an upcoming release.
