Time does not adjust to Daylight Savings Time (DST) for Egypt

Versions Affected:

For groov EPICs: All versions prior to 3.5.0
For groov RIOs: All versions prior to 3.5.0

Resolved In Version:

For groov EPICs and groov RIOs: 3.5.0

Symptoms:

If you have the following options set in Time Settings, your groov EPIC or groov RIO will not correctly adjust for Daylight Savings Time (DST):

Enable NTP is on
Region is Africa
Locality is Cairo

Daylight savings time was recently reinstated in Egypt, so groov EPIC and groov RIO firmware need to be updated.

Workaround:

Manually set and adjust time:

From the groov Manage Home page, click System > Time.
In the Time Servers section, disable the Enable NTP field.
Click Set NTP.
In the Time section, enter the correct time.
Click Set Time.

When Daylight Savings Time (DST) is in effect, manually adjust the time.

Resolution:
