Data Services not writing to PID output

Symptoms:

Requests sent through Data Services (OPC UA server, MQTT (Sparkplug or String payloads)) to write a value to a PID output do not work even if you have the PID output set to public and writable. When reviewing the Data Service log, you may find error messages similar to the following:

ERROR|2024-12-20 11:50:55,656|ManagedAddressSpace?.java|202|Unable to write value=DataValue?{value=Variant{value=0.1}, status=StatusCode?{name=Good, value=0x00000000, quality=good}, sourceTime=DateTime?{utcTime=0, javaDate=Sun Dec 31 16:00:00 PST 1600}, serverTime=DateTime?{utcTime=0, javaDate=Sun Dec 31 16:00:00 PST 1600}}

UaException?: status=Bad_NotWritable, message=The access level does not allow writing to the Node.
