A groov RIO with RSTP enabled may lose Ethernet connectivity on a network that has BPDU Guard enabled

Symptoms:

RSTP is enabled by default on groov RIO devices running the affected firmware version. With RSTP enabled, a groov RIO may lose Ethernet connectivity and become unreachable when connected to a network switch that has BPDU Guard enabled.

Workaround:

Disable RSTP on groov RIO devices that connect to networks that have BPDU Guard enabled:

Connect the groov RIO to another network that does not have BPDU Guard enabled (for example, connect it directly to a laptop).
From the groov Manage Home page, go to Network > Configure, move the slider of the RSTP option to the left to turn it gray, and click Save.
Reconnect the groov RIO to the original network.

You may need to coordinate with your network administrator or IT department to clear any errors on the affected network switch port.
