PAC Display Runtime Pro may crash after sending concurrent alarm emails

Symptoms:

After PAC Display Runtime Professional sends concurrent alarm emails, the Event Log Viewer may show that an email was successfully sent followed by a series of email failure messages. For example:

"System: Alarm Email sent=>Success "System: Alarm Email failed to send=>Connection failure: The SmtpClient is already connected." "System: Alarm Email failed to send=>Connection failure: The SmtpClient is already connected."

PAC Display Runtime may crash after the messages appear.

Workaround:

Try one of the following methods:

Disable sending emails for alarms.
In the Configure Email dialog box in PAC Display, use the System Default option instead of the Custom option (this requires a default Windows email client application). For more information, see the PAC Display User’s Guide (form 1702).

If you cannot use either option, you can also try staggering the emails using timers and flags.
