PAC Display Configurator may crash when configuring an alarm point

Applies To:

PAC Display Configurator Basic
PAC Display Configurator Professional

Versions Affected:

R10.0a to R10.6c

Resolved In Version:

R10.6d

Symptoms:

After selecting an alarm point in the Graphic Dynamic Attributes dialog box and checking Alarm Point from the Control Engine Driven list, PAC Display Configurator may crash.

Workaround:

Use the older Dynamic Attributes dialogs for configuring alarm points. To enable the older dialogs for PAC Display:

  1. In PAC Display Configurator, go to File > Configurator Options.
  2. Check the Use Older Dynamic Attribute Dialogs option and click OK.
  3. Configure alarm points as needed.
Once you are done configuring the alarm points, repeat these steps to uncheck the Use Older Dynamic Attribute Dialogs option. For more information, see the PAC Display User’s Guide (form 1702).
