Here's a quick tip for you groov users out
there, especially those of you who might want
00:08
to show several pages, perhaps on a big screen
TV acting as a kiosk. Let’s say you have
00:15
3 pages of your groov project you want to
cycle through automatically on a large display
00:21
in your lobby or factory floor. Because groov
runs in any modern web browser, you can make
00:27
use of the large variety of browser plug-ins
available. For example, here I’ve just downloaded
00:33
and installed this free google chrome browser
plug-in called Revolver Tabs, which will,
00:39
as it says here, automatically rotate through
the tabs that are open. I’ve set up 3 different
00:46
tabs on different pages in my groov project
that I want to rotate through to monitor production
00:52
lines in my factory. Then I just click on
this icon. Here we’re rotating every 3 seconds,
00:59
but I can change that. First stop the the
tab rotation by clicking on the icon again,
01:05
then right click and select “options”.
Here’s where I can change my time between
01:10
tab switches. Also, Make sure you UN-check
this option, because you don’t need to re-load
01:16
the page every time, that slows things down.
To this chrome “Revolver Tabs” plug in,
01:23
just google: chrome revolver tab plugin. Then
follow the on-screen steps to install the
01:30
plug-in. Other browsers have similar plug-ins.
Be sure to visit the groov forums to share
01:36
your experiences with other browsers and plug-ins,
and check out groov.com for more videos. Thanks
