I am a bit unsure as I would expect people to have come across this issue before, but the lack of hits in the forum says otherwise. Background: I am integrating a Modbus gateway from another manufacturer. The gateway collects a bunch of I/O and makes them available as Modbus TCP. The developers are aware of the issue and will be implementing the fix in the next release. Thanks for all of your help! I’ve been working with the Modbus integration kit for the last few days and I still can’t get it working with my slave device. The general behavior is that the slave device responds to Modbus commands from a standalone utilty, but doesn’t respond as expected to Pac Control. This example strategy uses just one of the many Modbus functions and could be helpful for those just getting started with Modbus, especially those using a WattNode device. I started with our Modbus Integration Kit, got that working then pared it down so it’s just one call to the subroutine that writes a single register. Perhaps this might save someone a little time getting their own WattNode (or other Mo...... <less Page 1 of 3Next » Show 25 Items Show All Items Show 10 Items Show 25 Items Show 50 Items Show 100 Items

I’ve got a Thermoscientific Autopilot Pro flow computer that I need to read registers from. I’ve got a modbus integration kit PAC control chart I put together from when I thought it was normal modbus format. The connection is being done through RS-485 thtough a Grv-CSERI-4 serial comms unit on channel 0. I’m still new at this and trying to figure it out on the fly, so pardon my ignorance. When I tried to run the program I had I got a return table of all zeros and a st...... <less Homebrew BACnet/IP integration Forum - Published: This stems back from a post regarding BACnet/IP in Feb http://www.opto22.com/community/showthread.php?t=103 I was needing a BACnet/IP solution for integrating to a Mitsubishi VRF system with their BAC...moreThis stems back from a post regarding BACnet/IP in Feb http://www.opto22.com/community/showthread.php?t=103 I was needing a BACnet/IP solution for integrating to a Mitsubishi VRF system with their BAC-HD150 device. From tmcculloh’s reply i could have purchased a S2 and a BASRT-B router, get the integration kit from the Opto22 site and that would provided an adequate solution. The reason i did not pursue this path was the high price of controllers, limited budget, no need for full BACnet integr...... <less Contolling a Honeywell 7800 Burner Control Forum - Published: I am looking to use PAC control and the Modbus Integration Kit to control a Honeywell burner using the 7800 series burner controller. The PAC control uses the Modbus integration kit to read/write data to a heating controller using Modbus RTU RS485. The Modbus data is all integer format, so if a register for Temperature Setpoint has a value of 200, it actually means 20.0 Degrees!!
