Tag data does not exchange faster than 1000 millisecond intervals in OptoDataLink

Symptoms:

When you are configuring the “when” condition for an Opto 22 device in OptoDataLink and set the interval to a value faster than 1000 milliseconds, the tag data may not update faster than once every 1000 milliseconds.

Workaround:

To log data faster than an interval of 1000 milliseconds:

Use PAC Control to log data to a persistent table on the controller. You can then move the persistent table data to a file, which you can transmit to an FTP server. For more information, review the FTP and Data Logging Example on the opto22.com website.
Use PAC Display to configure the desired scan rate for time groups, and then use a Historical Log. For more information, review the PAC Display User’s Guide (form 1702).

NOTE: You may experience performance issues if using fast scan intervals on a large number of tags due to throughput limitations.
