Opto 22's OptoTerminal family brings a programmable, Ethernet-enabled, graphics-based operator interface to any location with Opto 22 SNAP Ethernet I/O, SNAP Ultimate I/O, or SNAP-IT systems. Operators can use these mountable display terminals to send commands to and receive real-time data from plant floor equipment and other devices connected to Opto 22 hardware.
This manual covers the many aspects of the Qlarity Programming language. OptoTerminal software is divided into four major components: User Application (created in Qlarity Foundry™ or a compatible text editor using the Qlarity™ programming language), Application Binary (the user application compiled as binary so it can be downloaded to the terminal), System Software and Operating System (written in C using µC/OS) and the Hardware Abstraction (for the Windows® and the terminal’s hardware drivers).
Qlarity Foundry™ is a Windows®-based design tool that uses the Qlarity™ programming language to help you design user applications for the OptoTerminal-G70 and OptoTerminal-G75 operator interfaces. This manual covers design basics, user application design, specific Qlarity Foundry functions, and more.
Opto 22 OptoTerminals are Ethernet-enabled graphic terminals with object-based programming. These terminals feature a robust list of industrial grade hardware features and options. This manual covers product description, supported interfaces, terminal components, installation instructions, power on setup information, and more.
This guide shows you how to configure an Opto 22 OptoTerminal-G70 or OptoTerminal-G75 and connect it to an Opto 22 SNAP Ultimate I/O™ , SNAP Ethernet I/O™ , or SNAP-IT™ system over a standard 10/100 Mbps Ethernet network. The guide also includes basic instructions for using the included Qlarity™ Foundry™ programming software to communicate with these Opto 22 I/O systems.
