groov View yellow triangle error prevents access to trend features

Symptoms:

In groov View, when a trend displays a yellow triangle error message for one of the pins, a user is unable to use the zoom or download data features of the trend. The trend seems to lock up for a period of time, which depends on the period and update interval configuration.

Resolution:
