Time difference between GRV-EPIC-PR1 and Control Engine

Symptoms:

The control engine on groov EPIC processor doesn't apply the current time zone offset to the hardware clock.

If a time zone other than UTC is set on a groov EPIC processor (via groov Manage), the time retrieved by the control engine will be off by the offset of the currently-set time zone. In addition, attempting to set the date/time using PAC Control strategy commands, PAC Terminal, or PAC Display will result in the clock being set to unpredictable values.

Workaround:

Always set the date and time through groov Manage.
When you retrieve date and time values through a strategy, manually apply the current time zone offset.

Resolution:

Opto 22 has resolved this issue.
