Automatic restore of network and firewall settings may fail after system update

Symptoms:

When performing a system firmware update, if you selected that the network and firewall settings be restored after the update, the restore might fail, causing the network and firewall settings to be set to factory defaults.

Workaround:

Before you start a firmware update, create a backup of the network settings (from groov Manage Home page, click Maintenance > Backup). After the firmware update is complete, check your network settings. If they did not get restored, use the backup to restore them (from groov Manage Home page, click Maintenance > Restore).

Resolution:

Opto 22 has resolved this issue.
