Symptoms:

In a PAC Control strategy, the Flag Lock and Flag Unlock commands may result in the controller or processor locking up or resetting when other logic in the strategy or an HMI sets the value of the 32-bit integer used as the Flag Lock/Unlock variable and you do one of the following:

You attempt to stop the strategy.
You attempt to download a strategy (which stops the existing strategy).

Workaround:

Use a special name for the 32-bit integer variable used as the flag variable for the Flag Lock/Unlock commands to make it obvious what they are used for. Never use any command other than Flag Lock or Flag Unlock on these variables and don't set or clear them from an HMI.

Resolution:
