SSH: Some Vimrc settings changed or missing

Symptoms:

A Vim resource configuration (vimrc) file in version 2.0.0 of the firmware changes or deletes settings that were in the 1.5.0 (or earlier) version of the firmware. One symptom you may observe is that when you run the sudo visudo command (which changes the output from monotone to multicolored), the output remains monotone.

Workaround:

Modify /usr/share/vim/vimrc to adjust the settings as desired. To view a list of lines that differ between the 1.5.0 and 2.0.0 versions, see the results of a comparison.

Resolution:
