Enable Quality Indicator Option Missing for Some Digital Channels in Edit Digital Point Window

Applies To:

  • PACCONTROLBAS (PAC Control Basic)
  • PACCONTROLPRO (PAC Control Professional)

Versions Affected:

R10.3c

Resolved In Version:

R10.3d

Symptoms:

In PAC Control Config mode, when you edit a digital channel (of a groov I/O module or a RIO) in the Edit Digital Point window, PAC Control does not display the Enable Quality Indicator option for full-featured digital channels (channels that are not simple or not mechanical relays).

Workaround:

Enable or disable the digital channel's quality indicator through groov Manage.

  1. Log into the groov EPIC or RIO module with an administrator account.
  2. Go to digital channel's configuration page:
    • On a groov I/O module: Click I/O > the module > the digital channel > Configure.
    • On a RIO module: Click I/O Channels > the digital channel > Configure
  3. Click the Quality Indication slider to disable the feature.
  4. Click Save.
