Hi in this groov workshop I’ll show you how backup and restore your groov project
00:09
in groov Server for Windows. Now that you’ve spent some time carefully creating pages and
00:14
user accounts, make sure to backup your project! Here in groov Build, select File > Backup
00:22
Project to Computer. The backup file is automatically created with all your pages and everything
00:28
in your project, including all your User Accounts. This archive file is automatically downloaded
00:34
to your browser’s default download location. We recommend you back up often and store the
00:40
file somewhere safe. To go back to a previous version of my project, or a different project,
00:47
I’ll need to do a: “Restore.” Remember that your project also includes the usernames
00:51
and passwords you’ve configured in groov Build. You’ll need to know an Admin username/password
00:57
combination for groov to allow you to do the restore. Here under File > Restore Project
01:03
from Computer, I’ll Browse to my project file. Here’s where I enter an Admin-level
01:10
username and password. I’ll click Restore, then Okay,  And that’s it! groov Server
01:17
will automatically restart using the project specified. Be sure you Backup often, and store
01:23
backups in a safe place (or two). So, that’s how to backup and restore your groov Server
01:28
for Windows projects. For more help check out groov.com or contact support, which is
01:34
always free. Thanks for watching. See you soon!
