Availability: In stock
SNAP 32-Ch -20mA to +20mA Analog Current Input Module

Production Specification

The SNAP-AIMA-32 provides 32 channels of -20 mA to +20 mA analog current input. The module does not supply loop excitation current. Although the 32 channels are not isolated from each other, the module is transformer isolated and optically isolated from other modules and devices.

Part of the SNAP PAC System, the module mounts on a SNAP PAC rack with a SNAP PAC brain or rack-mounted controller. Analog, digital, and serial I/O modules can all be on the same rack. Such an I/O unit is also well suited for PC-based control or for use as intelligent remote I/O for an Allen-Bradley Logix PLC system, such as ControlLogix, MicroLogix, or CompactLogix.

CAUTION: We strongly recommend that you use the SNAP-AIMA-HDB breakout rack and SNAP-HD-BF6 wiring harness with this module. Miswiring of any point on the module can cause severe damage; the breakout rack protects the module from many wiring errors.

Compatibility: This module can be used only with SNAP PAC brains and R-series controllers. See SNAP-AIMA for a two-channel module that can also be used with legacy SNAP Ethernet and serial brains.

For a similar module that provides two isolated channels, see SNAP-AIMA-i.

For a module that provides two isolated channels and supplies loop excitation, see SNAP-AIMA-iSRC.

Build your system in the SNAP I/O Configurator.
